As a former resident of the Felix Fuld Housing Project,Newark ,N.J. it is my great pleasure to tell you that it open on December,08 1941.This was stated on a plaque on the back side of the complex maintenance office next to the smokestack.Unfortunately this plaque was ripped off the building and probably stolen for scrap metal to be sold This date will always be in my mind for the date of completion was the next day after the attack on Pearl Harbor (December 07).
