yes
it is 56 Remington rifle model
I would try numrich arms for a magazine for your Stevens model 34.
100-1000 USD
That appears to be a Savage build, close to their model 34 or 56/65. You can find mags for the 34 easier than the other 2. At about $15 each, it's a small investment buying one of each for each model and see which one fits best.
Marlin
583 was part of a model number used by Sears on J C Higgins and Ted Williams branded guns sold by them. IF your gun is a .22 rifle, you may have a High Standard Model 34 Carbine. SOME parts for the Model 34 are availalble from Numrich gun parts corp. That rifle was made from 1962-1966. High Standard is no longer in business, so either used parts or new old stock parts are all that are available.
The value of a Stevens Model 34 22 LR caliber rifle is between $100 and $300. The overall condition of the rifle plays a large part in the final price.
And we need more information from you. What part is a translator?
My friend has a Sears and Robuck .22 bolt action single shot. We don't know the model or year it was made. Could it be a model 34?
