The Savage Model #94C I have was bought in 1952. It is a Sears, the gun is stamped J.C.Higgins Model # 101.1 . I read an article that said this gun was most likely only made in the 1950`s.
yes
your savage Stevens model 94c was made from 1926-1945,there were 934,000 made during this timespan.
The stevens model 94 began production in 1929.The model 94C was made from the 1950,s on and Stevens were still producing them well into the 1980,s.I will assume that yours was produced some time in the 1950,s.
The one designed and made by the manufacturer
These savage/stevens model 94c were made from 1929-1942.long before serial numbers were mandated by the gun control act of 1968.So there is a strong possability that your stevens does noy have a serial number.
these 410 ga lever action shotguns were made from 2001-2006.
Yes the model 94 series of shotguns were all made during the same time span of 1926-1945.
It was probably made in 1929 or 1930 -- production started in 1929 and ended sometime later in the 1940s, I believe. Tens of thousands of Model 94s were produced by Stevens and I'm not sure if the different gauges had overlapping S/N ranges -- my guess is that yours would have been one of those manufactured in the first year or two.
