When was the first suitcases invented?

Ok, I saw on one of Rimowa (a suitcase producer) stating that they were the first one to introduce a suitcase, in around 1930's. So I'm guessing that Suitcase was an invention of the 20th centuries.

Suitcases have been around since the dawn of time. Millions of years ago, people carried their things wrapped up in bark, wood or animal skins (like leather suitcases!). As time progressed, the skins were sewn together to make pouches and wood was used to make trunks and boxes. In the last few hundred years, fancy handles, wheels and steel reinforcements were selectively added along with various man-made materials such as nylon and plastic. So you see, humans have always had 'suitcases', they were not invented as such, they evolved.
