Uranus is the the third-largest and fourth most massive planet in the solar system.
(see the related links below)
Uranus was determined to be a planet by William Herschel based on surveys of the sky that he conducted beginning on March 13, 1781,using a telescope that he had built himself. Herschel did not actually "discover" Uranus, because it had been noted by many previous observers. He was, however, the one to demonstrate that it was a planet and not a star or comet.
.
Uranus was discovered by William Herschel, who made the announcement on March 13, 1781. It had previously been thought to be a star because it moved only imperceptibly across the sky. Herschel originally thought it might be a comet.
William Herschel discovered the first two moons,Titaniaand Oberon, in 1787.
The spherical moons were discovered in 1851 by William Lassell (Ariel and Umbriel) and in 1948 by Gerard Kuiper (Miranda).
The remaining moons were discovered after 1985, either during the Voyager 2 mission or with the aid of advanced ground based telescopes.
William Herschel discovered Titania and Oberon; William Lassell discovered Ariel and Umbriel; Gerard Kuiper discovered Miranda; the minor moons were discovered using Voyager 2 images and advanced modern telescopes.
these are some dates of discovery ....
Titania and Oberon discovered in 1787
Ariel and Umbriel discovered in 1851
Miranda discovered in 1948
I hope this helps you and by the way this isn't all of Uranus moons.

William Herschel discovered Uranus in March 1781. He is officially credited with finding it. However, although they did not realise it was a planet, it had been recorded previously. The first know recording was in 1690, by John Flamsteed, who thought it was a star. William Herschel first saw it in near the constellation of Taurus and initially thought it was a comet, and reported it as such. It was when it was realised that it was not moving as fast as a comet, that it was thought to be a planet.
