Just before the end of the second world war the Nazis tried to burn down the concentration camps so that there would be no evidence of what they did. This was not done very successfully as you can still go and visit some of the concentration camps such as Auschwitz.
Homosexuals had to wear a pink triangle. However, many of the homosexuals in concentration camps had not been convicted of any crime, but were simply sent there by the Gestapo on the basis of gossip.

Most of them stayed in the Soviet Union. Leaving the country was extremely difficult.
When I moved into my new house, my neighbours told me that the first concentration camps were in our back yards. They are obviously torn down now but there are a few corpses that sometimes stick out of the ground.

The Jews were put into gas chambers and were told they were just taking a shower. If they tried to escape from the concentration camps , they would be shot by the guards. They were dehydrated so their body shut down or they starved to death. Also they died of sicknesses because they were out in the cold and in a filthy environment.

I assume by 'Holocaust people', you mean people in concentration camps. The portions were very small indeed - a bowl of watered down soup containing broth, bits of meat, and vegetables if you were lucky. Stale bread and coffee (also signifigantly watered down) were also served rarely.
There's a misunderstanding here. Concentration camps did not lead to World War 2. Countries went to war for much more down to earth reasons. In fact, liberating concentration camps didn't figure anywhere in Allied war aims.
During the Holocaust, the Jews were transported to the camps in box cars. There were usually over one hundred Jews in one box car at a time. There was no room to stretch, lay down, or go to the bathroom. They would usually be in the box cars for days.
In the concentration camps, during the Jews' allotted resting time of a few minutes, during Hanukkah, they would sometimes sit down and reminisce about how their fathers/mothers lit the menorah. Some Jews did not celebrate it at all. It must be kept in mind that they were in horrifically inhumane conditions in the concentration camps and had virtually no materials at all. Nonetheless, there are some poignant true stories about the few who did manage to light some form of impromptu menorah, against all odds.

The Holocaust was a time of pain and death for Jewish Men, Women, and Children. Adolf Hitler was a leader to Millions of people in World War II. He also killed 'imperfect' people, also known as Jews. Many Jews had to shut down their businesses because of German laws. They could not listen to certain radios they were banned of some books, and Jewish kids were forced to go to Jewish schools. They also had certain curfews and had to wear the Star of David to indicate that they are a Jew. After some time, Hitler took over more land and started making Concentration Camps. Between the years of 1940 -1945, Jews were killed or starved to death in different concentration camps. During the year of 1945, Hitler was defeated and the Concentration Camps were emptied. Many survivors were forced to live in 'Displaced Persons' facilities. Some teenagers or children that experienced the Holocaust may still be alive today. The Holocaust also involved political prisoners, gays, lesbians and gypsies. Because of the horrific loss in shear numbers the Holocaust has become synonymous with the "extermination" of Jews.
Yes, a few survived when armies arrived and took the Nazi's down. However, the Jews suffered great losses during the Nazi's reign.
