How do poppers explode?

Party Poppers pops because of the spring attached to it. You see, when you twist something below the popper,a spring is released. The release of the spring causes a force to push the contents out. That's why the cover of a party popper is either plastic or light paper so that the contents pushed can easily go out or "pop" thus the name "Popper" is born. (:

What are the disadvantages of poppers in textiles?

Poppers in textiles can be prone to rusting over time, which can stain the fabric. They can also potentially break or come loose with repeated use, leading to the need for replacements. Additionally, poppers may not be as secure as other types of closures, such as buttons or zippers, and may be easier for them to accidentally come undone.

Is silver explosive?

silver fulminate is a high explosive. I believe it was the first one discovered but I may be wrong about that last part. If I remember my information correctly it is still put in those little snap poppers that can be bought in places with fireworks. It's highly reactive, especially by accident and so unpredictable and sensitive that a person would more likely blow themselves up if they tried to consolidate a pile from those poppers. Though it doesn't sound too hard to make if a person understands the effects of acids on metals and how compounds are generally named.
