Ussally in Sept the little antler sparring starts and rubs are showing up and then in mid Oct , during Bow season the older does come and it continues into November and the younger does come into heat in Dec if they reach maturity. I find that the 1st - 15th of November is the best time to find yourself rattling and grunting in buck's in Susquehanna County. I've had many encounters with some nice buck's. There are time's to scout prior to then for staging area's, food sorce's, and bedding area's. Go out month's prior and do your home work and practice shooting. It will pay off come the magical time called the "rut". Remember this as well. For every dieheart deer hunter, there is a even more supportive spouce. I got that off of a hunting video, none the less it's 110% correct.
it usually starts about November 9th each year give or take a few days with it sometimes continuing until first few days of gun season. Peak is around 13th or 15th depending on the weather.
Deer season for rifle users always starts the Monday after Thanksgiving.
So 2008's season will start December 1st.
Pennsylvania deer will go into the peek of the rut (chase phase) during mid to late November.
The rut ends around the 3rd week of January. It depends on the full moon. The rut begins on the full moon in late October, and ends roughly around the full moon in late January.
oct 26
yes you do need a permit
around the middle of october
It will vary form place to place around the state but should be close too the end of October or first week or two of November. Some deer will be early and others late going into December.
It normally happens around the harvest moon... It varies across the country. In New York it is most usually between Nov. 6th and 17th. Temperature can have a big effect on this as warm weather can delay it. Look for signs like scrapes and rubs on commonly traveled deer routes. This is usually a godd indicator that the bucks are beginning to advertise their presence more and are getting ready to start actively searching out does.

About 375 road miles.
They live in many different places. For example, in Pennsylvania, the population is decent to the effect that there are not as many road kill deer anymore. A popular place is in Bradford PA, which is located in PA. Also Allegheny is a great place too.
