When will you get your braces off and How do you know?

You could look and see how staright your teeth are . Also if you had the overbite problem you could tell if that is gone, or if any additional problemes check that out. Another way is take the date you got them on and add how long your othodontist said your braces would be on . If your un-sure ask you orthodontist:) good luck, and i hope my answer helped

nothing actually happens because my uncle took his braces off soon and nothing happened. Although this could be the case, your teeth could indeed shift back. It all depends on how much space if left in between your teeth. If there's only a little, they'll just shift a bit over to the other tooth their closest to and there shouldn't be any real problems. But if there are huge gaps in between each tooth, they could go anywhere. You really should wear your braces until there are no more spaces, and then consult with your orthodontist to see if it's alright to get them taken off. But wear your retainer if assigned one! You really don't want braces again, right?
