For this skill, you'll need some good strength. It's quite simple, actually. When you are in a back bend (bridge), you lift the leg you'd prefer (most people prefer their right) and lean so that the leg on the floor's knee bends. Then you powerfully have to kick over. I first learned this skill on a box, then gradually removed layers, until i learned it on floor. It is also easier, if you know how to stand and lean into a bridge, but one of your legs are off the floor before you start. It's basically the same thing as before except you start standing. This particular move is called the back-walkover. There is also a move called the front-walkover, if you wanna learn to do that, just ask!
well a back walk over is when u do a standing back bend then kick over but in sted of starting off with ur feet together u put one of ur feet out in front of u then u do a back bend and kick over...
A back kick over(same as back-bend kick over) is where you go into a bridge (all 4 limbs on the ground) then pick one leg up and kick over. A back WALK over is a continuous motion from a stand where only 3 of you limbs ever touch the ground at the same time. I hope that helped!
First you have to be able to do a back bend. To do a back limber do a back bend and try to place your hands close to your feet. Next you shift all of your wait onto your hands and jump with your feet. Be sure to pick both feet up at the same time or else it would be considered a back bend kick over. Hope this helped give you an idea of what to do! xoxo
This depends greatly upon how flexible you are and how often/hard you work at it. You could easily learn how to do so with proper exercise and spotting in a week or two but if you are a good ways from your goal it could take a month or two. When you practice, start facing a wall then do your back bend, slowly climb your feet up the wall and kick over. That will help you learn what it feels like and will help build the flexibility in your back.
u need to learn the full split before doing this and always stretch. do complete back bend bend knee and kick off and straighten bent knee.
It just depends on how long your kickovers are and how long your round off backhandspring. ther is no correct answer becaude everyone does it differently.
No, he said to hit him so you don't have to bend over.
It's really the same as normal tumbling.......cartwells, somersault, backhand springs, tucks, back bends, kickovers, back-bend kick over etc etc i speck from personal experience I am a cheerleader myself
if it hurts your back to bend over when your back hurts
To do a back walk over, simply do a backbend first. (to do a back bend push your stomache out, bend your back, and look at your fingers.) BUT as your do the back bend make sure your foot goes up as you do it. Then when you come down, lift your other foot and put it down behind you. then do the same with the other. After your done that lift your hands back up and then you will do a back walk over!
They bend because it is the proper technique for soccer.
keeping your back straight, bend your knees and grip the load.
