This is a common problem for teenage boys. They grow out of it. The nose is sensitive to many different changes, including temperature and blood sugar levels.

Strange, our 7 year old son is experiencing nose bleeds as well. Very curious, he has been taking Strattera for around a year now. Seems to have the nose bleeding in the am when he awakes or during the night when he is sleeping on his pillow the next morning he leaves a very visible trace. Really not sure if the Rx is the link or not or maybe the weather causing it, really just trying to see if anyone else might have the same link between the meds and nose bleeds? This just started a week or so ago and have not thought much about it till he woke up again this am with a bleeding nose. I would have thought that if it were dry membrains in his nostril that it would be bleeding on a more regular cycle? Have a call to the doctor now but awaiting an answer now.
Your son either will have an allergy problem soon or break his nose. I don't think anyone or anything will cut his nose off. But it also could mean that he fell on something sharp and it removes his nose.
18 son.
Usually nose bleeds are just caused by very dry air. My son has been getting nose bleeds since he was very young, and while it can be very scary it is actually pretty common. Talk to your doctor, so that the information is in her chart. It will probably be worse at certain times of year. If she is inside breathing forced dry heat all day it could be a factor. Ask your doctor about the best way to stop them quickly, so that she does not get too scared, and ask him about using a humidifier in her bedroom at night. The extra moisture in the air might help to keep her nasal passages from drying out. Good luck!
nose bleed
Give him some runny nose medicine everyday.
It sounds like he may have allergies and depending on his age he may just outgrow it. Im not quite sure why the doctor would want to cauterize his nasal passages since cauterization is done to prevent nose bleeds and not runny noses.
son-less: i.e. having no son
barun is not having any son.
A nose bleed happens when your body gets to hot so that's it really:)
