Einstein stated that he hated the learning regimen of his Munich school, and often clashed with his teachers. Although he was never expelled, he did leave the school in order to study at Zurich.

He was kicked out because he purposely failed the classes. He never liked school nor the teachers!.He was also kicked out because the teachers never understood him and,because he asked to many questions.

He was more then held back. He was actually expelled at the age of 16. He went on to Switzerland to continue his education.

Albert Einstein did attend public schools. He went to a Catholic school for awhile and then attended Lutipold Gymnasium. He also attended Argovian Cantonal school.
