They are native to Spain and Portugal. There are only reported breeding cases in Spain though. Due to their extremely low numbers that are declining every year it's almost safe to say that they won't be living anywhere.

An Iberian Lynx is in the cat family.

It is larger than a bobcat but smaller than a Siberian Lynx.

The Iberian Lynx is the most Endangered feline in the world, there are only 150 remaining in the wild.

They have a spotted coat and fur that goes down the side of their face, they are hunted for their thick fur and for their prized meat. They started dying out in the 1920's because of a deseise then they were getting hunted by man, they also died because they had got caught in a snare set for rabbits or accidentally shot because it was mistaken for another animal.
