If you are looking at the motor, the injectors run down the backside of the valve cover. There will be a long tubular thing with a fuel line coming to it. That is the fuel rail. The injectors are below the fuel rail and are bolted down via the fuel rail. They will have a wire connection to each injector. If you are going to be taking them off, you will need to depressurize the fuel system. Any other questions, feel free to leave me a message.
fuel pressure regulator is on the right end of the rail.
Fuel tank capacity: 15.9 gal.
Plymouth does not use inertia/reset switches. The fuel system is computer controlled with relays.
Hi, my name is Will. I also have a 1990 Plymouth Laser 2.0 N/T. I ALSO have the same problem. I've checked every sensor you could think of and every time it lead me back to the ECM. The ECM controls all fuel functions including the injectors. What happens is when you turn your key on, the injectors are sent a constant positive signal and it is the ECM's job to send a negative charge to pulsate the injectors. Also if your camshaft position sensor is bad it will not send a signal that the engine is cranking therefore sending no fuel through the injectors. Hope I could help. And good luck. The fuel pump fuse on a 1991 Plymouth Laser is located in the engine compartment's fuse box. It prevents the fuel pump from being damaged by an electrical surge.
The fuel does not go to the throttle body it goes to the fuel injectors.
In the tank.In the tank.
YesYes
It is in the fuel tank.
In The Fuel Tank
it has an effect if you dont change the fuel injected
Always towards the fuel injectors.
