Where are the Special Trees in Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility?

By special trees, I assume you mean the ones that hold the special flowers. The trees really serve no purpose but to give the players a big clue as to where the flowers are. The trees and the flowers located at the base of the trees are in five different places as there are five different trees. The first is the tree in town square known as Daren's tree; here you'll find a green flower. The second tree is located is in Maple Lake, is called Ben's Tree, and is in front of Toby's house. Here you'll find a blue flower. The third tree, named Collin's tree, is on West Gull Island. It can only be found after you've unlocked Daren's Tree. Here you'll find a yellow flower. The forth tree is located at Brownie Ranch, which is unlocked later in the game. It's called Alan's tree and contains a red flower. The fifth and final tree, called Edge's tree, is reached when you've completed Alan's tree. Here, you'll find a purple flower.
