The spark plugs in this car are on the side of the engine. They are seen after the engine cover is removed.
It probably needs a tune up. The two main problems that cause this are that either the spark plugs are fouled and need to be replaced, or the bearings in the A/C compressor need to be replaced. Obviously the spark plug option is the least expensive. Isuzu recommends that you use Nippondenso plugs but I've found that Bosch platinum plugs work great.
under the pan on the motor, has around 10 bolts. they are under it.
hello the spark plugs are ressed into the valve covers follow the wires from the ignition coil packs. thx
two spark plugs are located to the right side of the engine and the other two spark plugs are located on the left side of the engine.
It's located on the left side of the engine. near the motor oil cap and spark plug coils.
Usually the cylinder head holds the spark plugs.
Under the resonator box on the top of the motor. They are under the six individual coil packs.
They require special spark plugs that measures the resistance between the electrode gap. This is transmitted to the ION sensing module (which is under the plastic cosmetic piece on the engine and mounted to the very top of the intake manifold). Using the wrong plugs will cause the engine to missfire/throw a missfire code.
White smoke is an indication of a blown head gasket. Oil leaking on the outside of the spark plugs is caused by a leaking valve cover gasket. Oil on the spark plug electrode is a sign of worn rings.
