You could try an open source software. Open source software is free to download and use while remaining completely legal to do so. Open source software is created by individuals or groups of individuals as their own projects and have active release cycles - which means they are updated on a regular basis.

If you are looking for a place to download one of the mainstream Retail versions of a 3D modeling software, you will not find a link to any of those illegal sources - this is considered piracy.

∙ 10y agoNaturally, one would not be able to buy free 3D modelling software. One can download free 3D modelling software online, from websites hosting open-source applications such as SourceForge.
Howerver, there are a few free tools, depending what your aim is. Do you want to create rooms in 3d or objects in 3d?

∙ 12y agoBlender is a good free software. Also if you go to autodesk.com and click on student, you can get free softwares (student version, but still better than blender) such as 3D max or Maya.
