People used to rough it in Shasta trailers. Designed for the military in WWII, the Shasta trailer evolved into an economical family travel trailer, though it felt a little cramped. Today's models are much larger and have many luxury features. Today, a Shasta trailer is built for comfort. Owners feel at home wherever they go. With finished kitchens, pop-out living rooms, pleated shades, attractive wallpapering and pile carpets, a Shasta trailer leaves few creature comforts behind. You can fall asleep at night watching Letterman or crawl into a queen sized bed only feet away. In your socks, wander off the living room carpet surface onto the kitchen linoleum and open the full-sized 'fridge. The contemporary kitchen has everything. The interior bathrooms feature toilet, vanity sink and roomy walk-in shower. Despite the luxury, large travel trailers present some real problems and trip planning will pay off in the long run. A Shasta trailer is an optimum package that is the envy of everyone on the road, and a little planning will make the trip worthwhile.
