Go skating! It's more fun and great exercise.
It means to go to a skating rink (either ice skating or roller skating), putting on skates, and then skating. The form of skates and the type of rink you need depends on what type of skating you wish to do.

it depends on the person really but for me, bike riding is better since it is easier to handle and roller skating is more prone to accidents.

No, there isn't because the wood wouldn't be able to withstand the cold needed to freeze the ice.Yes there is or was, It was called "Side by Side" there was a roller skating rink on one side of the building and on the other side was an ice skating rink. I use to go to it all the time when I was younger. I havent been able to find any websites for it though anymore. Such a shame.

Yes there is such a thing as professional Roller skating. I my self do it and if you don't want to hurt your self by doing jumps there is dance which is were you just skate around the floor doing foot work, or you can do show skate and that is were you do tiny jumps and lots of spins and foot work so yes there is professional roller skating because lots of us go to competitions. :)
