Wallgreens and most hardware stores like Ace hardware.
Yes, and many newsagents sell the official Zippo lighter fluid, as well as other brands (Swan etc). yes pretty much. You can also use Ronsonol lighter fluid.
Es ronsons is zippo brand to so yes it works great
Ronsonol lighter fluid (another fuel for zippos) is actually just pure naphtha. If you've ever heard of naphtha paint thinner it is actually the same exact thing..
what im sure youre looking for is vm&p naphtha. try ace hardware's or any other store carrying Coleman brand camping fluid, zippo lighter fluid, or ronsonol lighter fluid. its not terribly hard to find if you actually know what youre looking for and can avoid appearing as a drug user (for which this is widely used). now go forth, and extract something great.
I'm 15 and i got one offline. I don't see why they wouldn't sell u it...its cigarettes they wont sell you, not fire. No you just can't buy fuel for them until you are eighteen, you can buy the lighter at any time. To add, I bought one ( I'm 13 ) with Ronsonol fluid all at my Walgreen's. I don't think there is a restriction on Zippo lighters, just butane lighters. No i bought… Read More
If you run out, a variety of liquid fuels can be used as a stopgap, Ronsonol will work but as it is a lot more volatile than the naphtha-based Zippo fuel, it will evaporate quickly while the lighter is in your pocket, and let you down. Nothing is as good as the real thing, believe me.
I'm pretty sure you have to be 18 to but lighter fluid.
Yes. Most places will ask you for I.D. when you purchase lighter fluid.
Age doesn't matter if they don't ID you. I'm 15 and buy lighters and lighter fluid at Walgreens all the time
you could be any age, you just have to be 18 to buy lighter fluid
in australia, you can be any age to buy zippo lighter fluid. im 14, and so is my boyfriend, and we bought a zippo and zippo fluid yesterday, so all good.
Absolutely do not use any household items for lighter fluid. Go to any convenience store and buy Zippo fluid or Ronson fluid.
Use a naphtha based lighter fluid like Rhonson or Zippo brand lighter fluid or any other commercially available naphtha fluid. You can buy 100% naphtha at a lot of hardware and home improvement stores and it will work fine in your lighter
yes and no....you can buy it without the fluid.....lighter=you can buy as a kid fluid=no, 18 or older to buy......*NOT ALL STORE WILL LET YOU BUY IT BECAUSE OF INFLUENCE OF SMOKING*
Most smoke shops, drugstores, and some grocery stores will carry some variety of lighter fluid. Despite what Zippo tells you, the other brands of lighter fluid (i.e. Ronson) work just fine and will not cause your Zippo to spontaneously combust.
you don't. buy a new one, they're quite cheap, or invest in a refillable zippo lighter.
First you go buy some charcoal and lighter fluid then, you put charcoal in the grill and put lighter fluid on it then you light it then you can cook you YUMMY hamburgers:) That's how you love a gril:)))
To the original answerer, you didn't read the question. Here is my fuel list, with each sucession being worse for your lighter, and the last two will gunk it up and smoke like a pig. 1. Ronsonol 2. Coleman fuel ( supa cheap ) 3. Kerosene 4. Axe 5. Gasoline (completely dangerous, risk of losing limbs)
Yes , as is Zippo lighter fluid .
It is fluid that you put into a Lighter
No sir, I'm 14 and got my Zippo today with some lighter fluid. Heed my advice, if you want a Zippo, make sure to have Lighter fluid, it does not have any pre-filled. SMOKE WEED EVERYDAY(<--- Listen to him), Jon
Your question is phrased incorrectly, please re-state.
You can buy it at most grocery stores and convenience stores (it will be behind the counter) or any cigar or smoke shop.
lighter fluid is in cigarettes.
yes it can and will work just fine , I use it when im low on zippo fluid and don't want to go to a smoke shop, i just go to the nearest convenience store
In many stores, you will be asked to show I.D. to prove that you are 18.
You can't use zippo lighter fluid in the visol phantom lighter as it requires butane. Zippo fluid is mostly naphtha.
Zippo lighter fluid is standard lighter fluid, made by Zippo Inc. that is specifically designed to light Zippo Lighters.
Yes, this is exactly what it is made for. Use Zippo Lighter fluid preferably but Ronson lighter fluid will also work.
I just bought one, and I am 15, hope that helps at all
I saw a littlestall in Whitfords shopping center selling Zippo products including Zippo lighter fluid.didn'tsee the price.
Nothing really it all the same stuff they just want you to buy there own brand that's all...... i have a 1988 zippo i have had and i have used generic brands and it is still working fine
If you buy the lighter, it comes with the case (the outer part of the lighter), the lighter (the inner piece where the wick comes out of the chimney), one wick, one flint, and the filler material that you put fluid onto. You can also purchase kist that come with spare wicks, flints, and a can of Zippo brand fluid. When I bought mine they did not offer the kits, so I bought the lighter… Read More
any lighter fluid, except for bic lighter fluid
Absolutely not, you should only use Zippo Lighter fluid. If you're in a pinch, Ronson lighter fluid works too.
is zippo lighter fluid the same thing as coleman lantern fluid
Lighter fluid ...its not often that the trivial answer is the right one. Good work. Lighter fluid ...its not often that the trivial answer is the right one. Good work.
Yes , many use lighter fluid instead of charcoal fluid - take care with both .
If you are talking about camping oil or charcoal lighter fluid NO.
Yes. Any recognized brand of naptha based lighter fluid will work nicely in a Zippo lighter.
I am 17 and I just bought some zippo lighter fluid today in a cigar shop. They didn't even ask for my id. I think the age is 16 though.
Slide the lighter body out of the lighter case, by pulling on the wick cage. With the lighter body upside down squirt lighter fluid into the fiber packing in the lighter until saturated. Reassemble the lighter body into the lighter case. Let excess lighter fluid evaporate before using the lighter.
I wouldn't recommend it because the lighter fluid is just a liquid and the normal jet lighter fuel is a compressed gas. Having the gas compressed forces the gas out with the perfect amount of pressure. If you just put a liquid in it, it will just sit there and not do anything; maybe if you pressurize it and then make it into a fine mist when it comes out then it might work, but… Read More
Most likely. The law and "children" is designed to keep hazardous materials out of the hands of children. After 18, it is presumed that you will not do stupid stuff like try to blow up the outhouse with lighter fluid. It also presumes that it will prevent smoking in an indirect way. If you have a refillable lighter and you can't refill it, what use is it? Lighter fluid is a hazardous material because of… Read More
no, lighter fluid is not flamable if it is dry, because the "Dryness" is caused by the evaporation of the fluid. Basically, its not there anymore.
Yes, you can use all purpose lighter fluid in a Zippo, however, Zippo Inc. does not recommend it.
The one thing you'll need to buy before using it is lighter fluid. Zippo lighters come empty and you'll need to fill it. You should try and use only Zippo Lighter fluid which you can find at any cigar shop, most convenient stores and most supermarkets. As time wears on, you'll need to purchase flints and wicks but these take a while to wear down. If you're buying online, you may want to purchase these… Read More
Absolutely not. Try to use only Zippo lighter fluid in a zippo lighter. Ronson lighter fluid will work too if that's all you have.
