Gun Parts Corp has correct Higgins buttplates, but they would have to be fitted to the stock.

I am looking for pictures of the first model 3. I recently bought one and am wondering if it is the first model. The gun has a 22" barrel, a plain metal butt-plate, and no finger groove in the stock. Any information is appreciated.
