Most of his Pokemon are pretty tough, but the key to beating him is taking out his Machamp. Since Machamp has No Guard, all of his attacks have perfect accuracy. That means that he can use DynamicPunch (100 Attack Power + 100% chance of Confusing the opponent) without fear of it missing. However, No Guard actually works both ways. Your Pokemon will also have perfect accuracy when battling against Machamp, so you could probably use it to your advantage.

Machamp is really the main Pokemon to worry about. Most of his other Pokemon are annoying, but not particularly powerful.

If you are talking about the rematch, the only differences on his Pokemon team are that he has a Tyranitar instead of Gyarados, and his Rhydon evolved into Rhyperior.
