The best place to go for magic mushrooms in the north east of england in my experience is in the Derwent walk or up towards hexham. If you go there on a cold but damp october morning you are likely to find some...........happy hunting.................. The experimental geordie nutjob!
Marsden Moor is a good place to look for 'em, especially in the open fields where you find sheep roaming around
