You can find the crusier control on the back of the right side of the stering wheel but not to far back, if you have cruise control. The cruise control is an opition; standard on the touring, limited, and GT edition.
The cruise control does not have a relay. The engine computer powers and controls the cruise.
Are you sure you need the fuse for the cruise control. My cruise control wasn't working, neither were my brake lights. All 7 bulbs were burnt out. When the brake lights were replaced the cruise control worked.
Cruise "light" gets power through "Meter" (10A) fuse. Cruise control combination switch is wired to "Turn" (10A) fuse. Both fuses are in passenger compartment fuse box (under lid next to driver's left knee).
take the old one out and take it with you to the junk yard ,make sure the #'s match cost about $ 100.00 there, dealer $ 1000.00 ! Where do you find power train control module on a 1996 kia sportage
if there is a warranty, take it in
There is not one.
A. There is no "Cruise Control Relay" per se. The power for the cruise control comes through fuse #14 in the fuse box. From there it goes to the Cruise Control Switch. However, the Cruise Control Module is above the Fuse/Relay box, behind the dash board. There is a special cruise control tester, VAG 1466, that Volkswagen plugs into the system to pinpoint malfunctions. I think it would be worth the money to just have Volkswagen check the system if you find the fuse is not the problem.
First you need to troubleshoot the 1994 LeSabre cruise control. Check the fuse, the cruise switch, the linkage, to find where the problem is. Check the vacuum lines on the engine as a vacuum leak can cause the cruise to not work properly.
disconnect the wire connector, then find the right size wrench or socket and unscrew it.
look in a chiltons book.....tuner1978
The cruise control relay is in the engine compartment on a 1994 Escort LX 1.9L. It is part of a bank of relay switches near the battery. The cruise control is also controlled by the electronic speed sensor on the throttle body (carburetor).
