Parker Bros.
Your Parker Bros. shotgun was made in 1925.
I have a Parker Bros 12 guage double barrel shotgun. the serial # on the gun is 122343. the gun is in fair to good condition. Does anybody have an idea of it value.
A common Parker Bros. hammerless double, D grade, good to very good condition, 12 ga. with ejectors, with a modicom of case colors remaining, is worth in excess of 500 dollars US.
I can say that your Parker Bros.20gauge shotgun was made in the year 1908.What I would still need to answer your question whould be the grade(BHE,etc.)the overall condition of your shotgun, are the barrels Damascus(Black Powder),or nitro steel(smokeless powder),and the bore condition. Please include the amount of original finish on the metal, and wood. Are there any dents in the barrels? All this is important in giving you a accurate value to your shotgun.
al number indicates that your Parker shotgun was made between 1866-1868.This covers the serial number range of 0-6,800.
While Parker shotguns VERY collectible, the value of ANY gun is based on make, model, and condition, Parker made several different models, and condition drives a LOT of the value. Afraid you will need a hands-on appraisal from dealer that knows double guns.
Unknown maker.
You will have to check the online auction sites to see if any similar ones have been sold lately
I have an identical shotgun. Same markings, date, laminated barrel, etc. but no gold emblem. I'm also interested in the value. Mine has a cracked stock.
Any good gunsmith can find or make parts for your shotgun. It might take several weeks to a year or more. Parker Brothers are a top of the line shotgun, and a shotgun in working shape is worth more than a broken one. Do some checking around at a local gun show, or surf the web for parts.
