Mary Shelley got the idea for her novel "Frankenstein" from a dream she had while staying at Lord Byron's house. The dream inspired her to write a story about a scientist who creates new life through artificial means.
The novel Frankenstein does indeed start out as an epistolary novel however this form is quickly abandoned and it becomes (instead) a narrative by the Doctor and occasionally a second-hand narrative by the monster. I believe that Mary Shelley began with the intention of an epistolary novel, abandoned the form when things started going very well in the other way, and didn't bother to go back and change her beginning.
Using forms to collect information standardizes the responses from different people and can focus the information gathering on the information that the person creating the form is interested in.

Just a humble opinion, but I think anything to do with seeing or experiencing art has the ability to help form the human mind. Doesn't matter if you like or dislike the 'art', but if you can verbalize your feelings about it, you transcend human boundaries and enter the area of creating a form of 'art' all by yourself. Having feelings from art is just as important as the person creating it. It can and should be seem as a form of art in itself. kapm
Testatrix is the feminine form of the word testator, the person who is giving property according to the provisions of the will-- the one who is creating the will. It is an infrequently used form. Aviatrix is an example, the feminine form of aviator. Mary the mother of Jesus is sometimes called the mediatrix of all grace in some religious traditions; mediatrix is feminine for mediator. I guess if we were still using this old form we would call a woman who is a senator a senatrix. Doesn't work very well.
Mary's is the singular possessive form.
Shelley used the terza rima stanza form in his famous poem "Ode to the West Wind." This form consists of three-line stanzas with interlocking rhymes, typically following an aba, bcb, cdc rhyme scheme.

To change a possessive to a longer form, you can include the possessive pronoun (such as "his," "hers," "its," "theirs," etc.) followed by the noun it is possessing, instead of using the shortened form (e.g., "her book" instead of "her's book"). This makes the possession relationship more explicit and easier to understand in writing.
