The Germans were convinced any invasion would be at the narrowest part of the English Channel - between Dover and Calais.
Yes, they did not anticipate where the invasion would take place, not enough land was covered by their troops. They also thought that Dday would be postponed due to weather.
Most of the Germans thought the invasion would happen at Straits of Calais. This was the shortest crossing point.
Officially, Operation Overlord, or more commonly it was known as 'D-Day' or sometimes as the Battle of Normandy.

For Skirmish Dday you have to call. I assume it is the same for Oklahoma and other big dday games also.

This may seem silly, but if you think about it hard enough, the best answer you're going to get is: food.

Dday
jaankaree, aank-dday
Making the enemy think you are going to do something different to what you are actually going to do, or deluding him into thinking that you have equipment that you don't have. For example, in WW2 a dead body in uniform was put into the Mediterranean sea. The body had papers on it which were designed to make the Germans think that the allies were going to attack in Greece, not Sicily. They then attacked in Sicily and the Germans were not ready for this. Also lifelike model aeroplanes and tanks were made to make the enemy think we had equipment to bomb, and so waste the bombs.
I think that it depends on who you talk to. Some Germans regret losing WW2 and some might think that it was terrible. I think in the whole, most Germans regret WW2 because most Germans during WW2 didn't like Hitler's decisions.
Germans have to be on time to everything or they think that it is bad for them
