To get a font onto your computer, for this case I will use Microsoft Word, first: Download the font, and save it to your desktop. If it comes zipped, unzip it. Then, open up "My Computer" and go to your Local Disk(C Drive). Then, find the folder that says "Windows". Double click it, and you will be taken to a place where you can find many important things. Either search for the file entitled "Fonts" or simply press "F" until it takes you to the Font folder.
Once you are done that, take your font, unzipped one of course, and drag it into the Font Folder. Restart Word, make sure you're project is saved, reopen your project, and edit the Font just like you would any other time.
Please do not mess with any other files in here unless you know what you're doing as it could potentially disarm your computer, making it unable to do certain things, and could lead to computer errors. Do not open, delete, or edit anything in the Window folder other than what I have said above.
