Muslims should keep the Quran in a clean high place such as a high shelf or on top of a cupboard. It shouldn't be kept in a place where there are any inappropriate items or forms of literature.

∙ 15y agoIt is usually kept a higher place in homes like the top most shelf in cupboard. Mosques have whole cupboards reserved for it. It is read in Arabic. For people whose native language language is not Arabic, several translations are available. The person reading it must perform ablution and should sit facing Makkah.

First of all, it is pronounced Qur'an. It is kept in Muslims breasts, millions of Muslims learn the Qur'an by heart; they do not only learn the text but also the way the prophet recited it a (a science with 1000s of books called Tajwid).
