I'm not quite sure if this is correct.

Stray dogs probably will sleep in some place dry and warm, if that's even possible for them to find! Some dogs prefer cave like places to sleep somewhere dark and protected from all sides

anywhere almost really! i have a cat that we have had for 7 years that was a stray. But the bad thing is that they could be sick like my other cat that was a stray, he died from a disease( we only had him for like 6months............

Usually they have kittens in dark, protected places. Our cats have had theirs under steps , and under an old couch in our shed. I hope this helps

Stray cats go where they can find food. That may by a restaurant's dumpster, or in a barn, or near garbage cans.
