- Walking, running or riding your bike in tall grass
- Using the move "Sweet Scent" when standing in tall grass
- Walking, running or riding your bike in Caves
- Smashing Certain rocks with the move "Rock Smash"
- Surfing in shallow water
- Fishing in shallow water
- Visiting other Special locations (The Power Plant, Pokémon Mansion, Lavender Town Tower, The Safari Zone) .
- Meeting the one who gives you the Pokémon Egg
- Resurrecting either of the two fossils you receive in the game.
- Resurrecting the old Amber.

articuno=seafoam islands at very bottom must beat rock puzzle
