At least you knew about mcleodgaming.com at all. Others just ask where to find a download for SSF2. It should say quick links somewhere in the upper left part of the screen. one of the links says SSF2 demo. that brings you to the page where you can pull up the latest version of SSF2.

If you mean the Super Smash Bros. Flash game, you can find it here: http://forums.mcleodgaming.com/viewtopic.php?t=154 If you mean the original one for the N64 on an emulator, you can try Emuparadise.org If you mean Super Smash Bros. Melee, try searching Youtube. There are lots of tutorials there.
I'm presuming you mean super smash bros brawl. Super smash flash doesn't even EXIST! But anyway, the game will save automatically when you are playing normal brawls, and in the subspace emissary you can find certain save points that are behind the golden doors. There is also a save option on the main map there and it auto-saves every time you finish a stage.
There are no levels in Super Smash Bros.
