u cant get growlithe in leafgreen unless u get it by trading from firered. And in firered they r on routes 7 & 8, and also on Pokemon mansion floors: basement 1, floor 1, floor 2, floor 3.
Sorry you can't fire red exclusive only. Unless you have a game shark or something like that
