Search Ebay for OBD II, OBD2 scanner. I got the ELM327 Bluetooth for $16 to use with my Android phone. But you can get the USB or WiFi version. All the mini cd that comes with it has is free software. Mine tried to install a severe threat hacking program that my virus protection stopped. Pitch the mini cd and search for free OBD2 scan programs. I used Torque Lite, worked fine on 2001 Lanos & 1998 Windstar.
It is to the right of the CD player top button - looks like a triangle on the button. Button above the Mute button.
Don't know how stuck the CD is in the CD player, but I used another CD to pry it up and out - worked fine for me.
Pull the radio out. On top of the radio there is a 4 digit number that's how you unlock it.. My car is a 2001 Leganza daewoo and the number is 4316.

no, a factory CD player can be used in a vehicle that has subwoofers attached. as long as the factory CD player in the vehicle has treble, bass, and subwoofer controls on it, it will be fine. if not, an aftermarket CD player will be the solution. with subwoofers, you need to control the amount of power that are ran through them. the amplifier is a control, but if not set correctly on the CD player, you could blow your subwoofers.
The factory CD player is trash. Many failures noted to date.
