Where do you find Abra on Pokemon sapphire?

You should be able to find an Abra in the cave at Dewford island. Run around in there for a while and one should pop up. Be sure to throw your Pokeball as soon as you see one because they teleport away. They aren't very rare and finding one shouldn't take long. I'm assuming that they are in the same place as they were in Pokemon Ruby version.

make sure you have a pokemon with a high speed and an attack that can completely disable his attacks, (not disable itself) like sleep powder or thunderwave. no just be lucky that it doesn't use teleport, and attack it. then use a pokeball, or even better, a great ball. (or a ultra ball if you have one) AND THEN be lucky that you catch it.

In Cerulean City, after you get past the Rocket on the bridge, go left and there's a grassland there. Just walked through it and an Abra will come out. The easiest way to catch it is you must have a lvl 20+ grass Pokemon that has the wrap skill. It must be of high level because Abra's speed is very high so it may take the first chance to attack. Its only move is teleport that's why you will need wrap to contain Abra.

I caught my Abra in Granite Cave in Deword Town with an Ultra Ball. It WILL teleport the first turn it gets- so your first turn must be with a poke ball. I got an Ultra Ball from my Zigzagoon, which has that awesome ability to pick things up!

Abra can be obtained after you have beaten the elite 4. But if that has not been done you can trade.

Abra is available within the Granite Cave which is located in Dewford Town.
