the2tails.com is just the best choice. They are affordable, realistic (you can get scales), durable, and beautiful. I've gotten more than 1 tail from the2tails :) i love them soooo much!

The H2o tails were made buy a company called JMB FX and can go for about $1,000. If you can't afford that or don't want to spend that kind of money on a mermaid tail, I recommend Magictail.de. It is a German company, so everything is in Euro (�) but the prices can be converted to about $120 in American money. If that is still too expensive, eBay is good source for a $35 tail. Another good company is Fin Fun which can also be found on Ebay.

There's A LOT of place to get one. One of the ways to get one is just go on Google and search, "swimmable mermaid fins," or,"swimmable mermaid tails for sale." LOTS OF stuff will come up. Also you can Google," Fin Fun Mermaid Tails." they have the cheapest tails, so far. but if you have LOTS of money and want a really good tail that's really life like then it may cost more like $100 at the least.

I don't know where to buy mermaid tails, but I know how to make them.

1. get any streachy pants. {do NOT use jeans}

2. put both your legs in one hole.

3. use the other hole and wrap it around your waist.

4. using a needle, sew it together. Be careful not to hurt yourself

5. buy a flippers and using water proof fabric, wrap it around and sew it to your pants. Enjoy!

My guess would be a costume shop or on-line company. Mermaids are too clever to be caught as history proves, and that would be horrible and cruel, and next to impossible since the only time humans usually see mermaids is on land and then well of course you know they don't have tails.
