if you bought a cheap kit thing at the auto parts store it will only conect to the low presure side(thats where you want it), profetional sets are more compicated(if you dont know what your doing back away, let a pro do it)
Freon goes into the low side ac port. There is also a high side port, but they are different sizes to prevent mixing them up.
Connect guage & 134a freon to low pressure on the evaporator add 1lb at a time

Look for the sticker under the hood! It will tell you the refrigerant and the ounces.
