how do I put transmission fluid in a Saturn vue
PLEASE WHERE IS THE LOCATION TO PUT IN TRANSMISSION FLUID IN A 94 SATURN CAR?
For a 1995 manual transmission grand am, the fluid capacity is 2.0 quarts for a complete drain and refill. The fluid type is 80W90 transmission oil.
Should be a plug on the side of transmission
If it is an automatic transmission, you add transmission fluid with a long funnel through the dipstick opening.
Same place you check the fluid level.
Motorcraft MERCON automatic transmission fluid ( for automatic and manual transmissions )
It is important to know the types of fluids to put in a car. A 1995 Ford Taurus will use regular Mercon transmission fluid.
You put it down the tube that holds the trans dipstick.
Transmission sounds shot. Check ATF fluid.
Under the hood is the transmission dipstick tube. You need a funnel to put in the fluid. Pull out the stick and fill the trans from the tube with the funnel. Make sure to use the right fluid, IF this is an automatic transmission......
In the tube that holds trans dipstick.
transmission cooler lines are common to leak
Fluid is added through the transmission dipstick tube. use a funnel to pour fluid into the tube slowly then check with the dipstick to prevent overfilling.
i have a 2003 Saturn vue and there is no dipstick for the transmission fluid. its a plug. you have to take you car to a shop and get them to check it... i know it sounds crazy. but they usually have to put it on a lift to get to it.
For all automatic transmissions you add fluid through the dipstick tube.
It is very easy to check the transmission fluid level in a 1995 Dodge Avenger ES. You will need to park the car on level ground and keep it running while checking the fluid level. The dipstick is located where you put the transmission fluid.
The only thing you should put in your transmission is transmission fluid specifically designed for it. To cut one line of thought short right now, DO NOT put brake fluid in a transmission; they are not interchangeable. (Can you get away with putting a small amount of brake fluid in? Possibly, but not certainly, and you will definitely void any remaining warranty you have by doing so.)
Never put anything in your transmission but the type of transmission fluid it was designed for.Why would you even ask this? If you shop around a little you should be able to get a bottle of transmission fluid for under $10. If you can't afford $10, you can't afford to be driving.
In the transmission.
The automatic transmission fluid level dipstick is towards the passenger side of the engine , near the firewall . Pull out the dipstick and use a funnel
Saturn's are among the growing number of newer vehicles which use a "sealed" transmission. It doesn't have a dipstick. Fill a Saturn transmission by opening the fill plug on the side of the transmission. Fill the transmission up to the fill plug, then put the plug back.
You put the Transmission Fluid in the Transmission (fill point transmission drip stick tube)
You will need a long narrow funnel that will fit in the small hole of the transmission dipstick tube.
