You can try killing rats in Lumbridge swamp if you can't afford food and armor but if you can it's a good idea to train at Barbarian Village between Varrock and Falador. The Barbarians have low defense but a fair amount of hp.

∙ 13y agoFight any monster below your combat level. The Stronghold of Security (under the Barbarian Village) has monsters for every player level, but of course there are other places, too, where you can fight. The lower levels of the Wilderness, for example, are another option.

∙ 14y agoIf you are a member, then it is good to train on East Ardougue Guards(lvl 20). If you have a high defense level, then you should try training on Dark wizards(lvl 7/20).
