The 'light phase' or 'absorption phase' is always happening when the sun is shining on a plant. The cell walls of leaves automatically are open to sunlight, usually at all times.

Small changes may occur when it rains, or snows, or otherwise precipitates.

All reactions of photosynthesis occur in the chloroplasts of the cells. The chloroplasts are mainly located in the leaves of the plant, but they exist wherever the plant is green.

Photosynthesis occurs in two steps which are?

light independent phase and light dependent phase

What is the primary reaction in photosynthesis?

It is the first phase. The light dependent reaction.

What are the reactions of the first stage of the photosynthesis called?

This is called the light phase oh photosynthesis as opposed to the dark phase. During the light phase, photons excite enzymes on the thylakoid. Also can be known as Light-Dependent Reactions

How many reactions take place in photosynthesis?

2 the light dependent phase and the Calvin Cycle

What are the materials needed to be performed in the light dependent phase of photosynthesis so that product during the same phase will be performed?

oxygen, glucose, and carbon monoxide.

What is the light dependent phase?

The "light dependent phase" or "light-dependent reaction" is a phase in photosynthesis in which light is absorbed by the photosystems (PS I and PS II) in the thylakoid membranes and electrons flow through the electron transport chains.

What exact part of the plant cell is used for photosynthesis?

Photosynthesis has two phases: the light phase and the dark phase. The light phase happens in the chloroplasts, which are the structures that contain chlorophyll.

What are the materials method to be formed in linght-dependent phase of photosynthesis so that products during the phase will be formed?

Why is it necessary to call dark phase of photosynthesis as light independent phase?

there is a reason. it does not need light.

Phase of photosynthesis where light energy is converted to chemical in form of ATP?

The phases where light energy is converted into ATP are called light reactions. I don't know if you want information on what happens then or not, though.

What is photoactivation of chlorophyll?

The initial stage of [[photosynthesis in [[chlorophyll Molecules where the presence of [[light Energy raises the energy. It is the first event int he first phase of photosynthesis which is light-dependent reactions.it happens at the thykaloid. Chlorophyll molecules capture light energy and becomes energized electrons(e-).

What is the first phase of photosynthesis?

The first stage of photosynthesis is called the 'Light Dependant' stage or the photolysis of water. this is when light enters the cell and splits water into hydrogen and oxygen. The oxygen is then released into the atmosphere and the hydrogen is picked up by the hydrogen acceptor NADP becoming reduced NADPH2 which is then used for the next stage of photosynthesis.
