-----------------------

The biblical authors assumed that society was unchanging, and that their ancestors had always used the same technologies and skills as they themsleves knew. Thus, Genesis tells us that Cain and Abel were already farmers, almost at the beginning of creation, and that Cain even built a city. In Genesis chapter 4, we find a worker in brass and iron. The biblical authors knew nothing of the stone age, and there is no room in Bible teaching for the stone age.

How many people kiss the blarney stone each year?

I can't find a single account of anyone having fallen while kissing the Blarney Stone. But a pilgrim was reputed to have slipped to his death when trying to kiss the stone by hanging over the edge. Nowadays you go out through a hole on your back and kiss the underside of the Blarney Stone. You do need to be fit. There is an iron cage to prevent you falling.

How do you build stone walls like those in Ireland?

The type of stone walls that you are talking about are those often seen built between fields in Ireland. As well as dividing the land, another reason was to remove the large stones in the ground, to make the land more suitable for farming. The walls are built without any mortar, and are known as dry stone walls. The stone wall builders choose their stones carefully so that they fit and will remain in place, despite their varying size and shape from each other. They are often not like bricks or square, often being rounded, making it more difficult to build with them. This often means searching through the stones they have in order to find ones to suit their needs. The techniques used to build sturdy walls are developed over time and with experience.

If you are referring to what is properly called the Word of God, that phrase should be capitalized. It isn't found anywhere but in the Bible because that's where it originates from. Every denomination has its holy book and that's where you find the preachings and teachings of that denomination. The Bible has many interpretations by many different denominations. Also, there are many, many versions of the Bible itself that have been crafted to fit the beliefs of the various Christian denominations.

How does today's society view the churches doctrine?

This depends on the society and of the church involved. If you mean western society, then it often frowns upon churches which follow the Bible. On the other hand, many churches in western culture compromise their standards and teachings to fit society. This reduces conflict but destroys their witness.
