The idea that Jesus died on the cross is fundamental to Christianity, right from the beginning. No Christian would say otherwise.
There is no place in The Bible that tells us Jesus didn't die on the cross.
Jesus did die on the cross and we should all be ecstatic that He did as by doing so He has saved mankind from going to hell IF only they will accept Him as their Savior. Jesus' primary reason of coming to earth was to be the sacrifice for sin.
Jesus did die on the cross, Matthew 27; Mark 15; Luke 23; and John 19.
Matthew 27:35
Mark 15:24 Mark 15:30
Luke 23:33

To all Christians, the cross represents Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for sinners, and his triumph over sin and death. Jesus died on the cross thousands of years ago, so that if you believe in him your sins will be forgiven. God needed a perfect sacrifice, and Jesus was the only one. If you want to hear more, read the Bible or talk to a Christian friend who can explain His life and death and ressurection.

It doesn't, actually. The Bible doesn't talk about the physical attributes of Jesus, so we don't know for sure what color His eyes were.
