Muscle tissue covers the entirety of your body, including its covering of the bones near your abdominals, back, chest and shoulders. It initiates movement throughout.

Muscle tissue is found in your arms, legs, face, even your penis and your vagina.

"Involuntary muscle", such as that which mobilates unconscious activities - those of the lungs, digestive tract and most of the central autonomic organs of the body and the circulatory system, are also included as "muscle tissue".

In all muscle types, skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscle. Skeletal muscles, which are muscles that you have voluntary control over (involved in movement, such as biceps, triceps etc.). Internal organs, which are made of smooth muscle such as the stomach, or those lining your blood vessels. And your heart also contains muscle cells, cardiac muscle.

Muscle tissue is the type of flesh that forms muscles. Muscles can be found almost anywhere in the body. Most are attached to bones (such as the bones in arms, legs, fingers and toes) because their function is to move those bones. Other muscles include the heart, the tongue, and the diaphragm.
