Where in the Bible does it say that it's good for a man to marry?

The verse you are referencing is 1 Corinthians 7, which actually states, "Now for the matter that you wrote about: It is good for man not to marry. But since there is much immorality, each man should take a wife, and each wife should take a husband." The author of 1 Corinthians admits that not everyone can live the way he is because it requires such intense conviction, and even says not to marry is something that he believes helps his ministry and focus, but it is not a command from God.

He follows with different examples of how husbands and wives then do not belong only to themselves, but each is the others and must fulfill their duties to each other. This is not, as some people choose to see, an anti-feministic statement. The author says that both people should seek to please each other and do what is right in the eyes of the Lord.

Often quoted as a good point toward marriage is this in verse 7: "If they cannot control themselves, then they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion."

Leviticus20:13

If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. "Put to death" is not the law of the New Testament. The new law calls for repentance and forgiveness of all sin.
