The radius and ulna, the forearm bones, provide rigid support for the muscles in the forearm, and are manipulated by the muscles in the upper arm, primarily the biceps and triceps.

The function of the radius bone is to allow the biceps muscle to attach. Other than that, it simply keeps your forearm straight. The ulna bone has the exact functions except it attaches several different muscles.

In an anatomical posture both ulna and radius are attach to the humerus. There are two ulnas which are medial to the body. There are also two radius which are located laterial to your body. Just remember we are looking in an anatomical posture.
