*All of Russia, except for the eastern Chukotsk (Chukchi) peninsula, is in the eastern hemisphere.

Russia is located in the eastern hemisphere. The eastern hemisphere goes from the international date line just east of Japan to Greenwich England. The Western Hemisphere begins at Greenwich and goes to the international date line. Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia are in the Eastern hemisphere. The Americas are in the western hemisphere.
