I rang the NAB on the 25th June, 2009, and was told that the following is the swift code for general transactions into all NAB accounts in Australia:NATAAU3303MAn earlier answer to this question offered the following site, which lists codes for more specific purposes:http://swift-codes.blogspot.com/2008/01/australian-bank-swift-codes.htmlI was given NATA AU 3302 S from my branch in Randwick NSW. But the link above lists that as a general swift for incoming transfers from abroad for all NAB accounts in Australia.
If you compare most of the merchant accounts online you will find that there are a lot of differences in price but also in quality of the service. The cheapest of them all seems to be NAB though.

NAB Australia: BSB number, 6 digits + Account number, normally 9 digits.
A BSB is allocated to each individual branch of a bank and is often grouped in a region category rather than just a suburb. The easiest way of finding your BSB is by using a search tool like www.bsbnumbers.com that permits you to enter known variables to extract a number of branches. Don't just search for Ballarat East - Search for Ballarat as well. The format of the BSB number is as follows: The First two digits specify the parent financial institution (Commonwealth, NAB, ANZ, Westpac etc), the third digit specifies the state where the branch is located (NSW, VIC, QLD etc) and the fourth, fifth and sixth digits specify the actual branch. Some financial institutions use the same BSB regardless of where the account was opened. Others use the same BSB for all accounts of a particular type, such as home loan repayments.www.bsbnumbers.com

In Australia BSB stands for Bank/State/Branch. So each bank branch has its own BSB. * The first 2 digits are Bank (NAB is 08, ANZ 01, Commonwealth 06, etc.), * The 3rd digit is the state, (2 for NSW, 3 for Vic, 4 for Qld, etc.) * The last 3 are branch identifier for the Bank.
There interest rates on the NAB website for credit cards using balance transfers is 1%. The NAB Low Rate card offers interest rates of 13.99% per year on purchases and 21.74% per year on cash advances.
