When you first begin your journey, choose chickorita. Then that guy who has red hair and looks like a girl will have a cyndiquil.
other than that i cant think of anything.........
there are some in platinum......

∙ 13y agoOnce you have defeated the Elite Four, you will see more trainers using Jolteon. Jolteon is a Pokemon used by more than one trainer, and these trainers will show up almost anywhere. However, if you really want to see Jolteon in a battle, then go to the Battle Frontier.

∙ 14y agoNo. The only person that might have a Pokemon would be your Rival (Silver), and that's only if you pick Chikorita in the beginning.
