bank 1,sensor 1 oxygen senor by exhaust manifold
bank one is close to the fire wall sensor one is before the cat
bank 1 is the one closest to the firewall. sensor 1 is the first one exhaust gasses will come in contact with after leaving the cylinder head.
Trouble code P0171 means:System too lean (Bank 1)
Bank 2 is the side of the engine that faces the front of the vehicle, sensor 1 is the upper sensor, it is in the exhaust manifold

on cylinder 1 side mounted on the manifold

remove intake assy and its inside the engine block,you can see once you remove the intake.its bank 1 aND BANK 2
The oil control valves (OCV) are located between the cylinders on the drivers side. Bank 1 OCV is below the throttle body. Bank 2 is above the starter.
