There are ferry terminals to the North and South of Vancouver. The southern terminal is in Tsawwassen and goes to Schwartz Bay (just north of Victoria, BC). The northern terminal is in Horseshoe Bay and goes to Nanaimo. Both terminals have ferries to the Gulf islands as well.
